Coal petrographic analyses are microscopic methods to quantify the components of coal and to determine the degree of coalification (rank).

The investigations deliver essential details for the technical use of coal. The customer gets information about the quality of the ordered product.
Undesired solid components can be identified and quantified only by microscopy. Thus, cost-intensive malfunctions can be avoided by preventative investigations.
